Notes: Guillaume Danet successor and son-in-law of Sebastien de Pontault de Beaulieu. Description: This map was printed from the plate of map De Langres the only apparent change being on the inscription within the cartouche beneath the main title. At some time the same copperplate passed to Nicolas de Fer and it subsequently passed in the possession of Guillaume Danet (c. 1670-1732). Danet was a publisher and paper merchant with the address given in the cartouche. Danet was the son-in-law and part successor of Nicolas de Fer (1720) whose maps he re-issued.
